Discus Bird, Bolling Beech Wood, Nordic Figurine

The Discus Bird is a 1961 design creation by the architect Hans Bølling.  Their design was inspired by the ancient sport of Discus.  The Parrot became Hans Bølling's discreet architectural signature adorning many buildings.

They are handmade and hand painted while still revealing the Beech wood texture. They range in height from 10.5cm, 17cm, 20.5cm to 21.5cm. The Birds are also available as a family and come in different colours and sizes.
